Kootenay PDL offers high performance inflatable stand up paddle boards, paddles, pumps and accessories designed for all skill levels and water conditions from calm lakes and meandering rivers to roaring white water and rolling ocean waves.

Modern-day SUP originated in Hawaii, and while Canada lacks the Aloha state’s tropical waters, our country has a strong and storied paddling heritage and amazing ocean coastlines, pristine lakes, and awe-inspiring rivers. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, we design Kootenay PDL boards to be lightweight, durable, versatile, and portable using layers of military-grade PVC and drop-stitch technology to excel on our diverse waterways.

Adlai Majer founded Kootenay PDL in 2017 with a vision of producing high-quality inflatable SUPs designed for our lakes and rivers, fostering strong relationships with local paddle shops, and supporting events and races to continue the growth of the Canadian SUP community.
